Hi everyone.

Many of you may be aware that our beloved Paul Fenton passed on Monday evening after a devastating cancer diagnosis in 2023. He was surrounded by family and passed onto Heaven in peace. We are thankful beyond words that we got two additional years with him and that we were able to share one more week with him in Florida at the beginning of September.

Anyone that knows the “Fenton Five” knows how exceptionally close we are and how profound the loss of Paul/Mike/Daddy/Poppa Fenton/Pappy is and will continue to be for so many. His wife, daughters, and grandchildren were his entire meaning in life. We can only hope that we live in this legacy by keeping family close and safe in our number one position.

After retiring from banking, Paul took over the Duncannon Bouquet and from this process, JF Designs was born, named in honor and memory of Paul’s beloved mother, Jeanette Fenton. It has been painful to abruptly close this business that he loved and to notify his beloved customers who were like family. In view of this, we respectfully ask that NO flowers or planters be sent to our homes or the church, as we have beautiful plans for Pappy’s grandchildren. Your understanding and your support are greatly appreciated.

As we work through the next few days, we will plan for a tribute to Paul’s amazing life and details will be shared after we figure them out. Thank you for your love, your support, your calls/texts/messages, and your prayers.

Hello to all of our faithful customers...

Thank you for all of your support and friendship through the years of our JF Designs creation and growth. We have been blessed to meet amazing friends throughout our Duncannon community and beyond. With great regret and incredible sadness, life events have led us to having to close our small town flower business as of September. Paul has been dealt a health challenge he cannot win.

Our family is contacting standing and recurring clients as well as anyone who selected us for weddings and family events. We have already been in touch with another small floral business right here in Perry County to take over the design and delivery of florals for weddings that are already "on the books."

Thank you so much for your love, support, and encouragement in this venture since we took over the Duncannon Bouquet and transitioned to JF Designs in early 2014. JF Designs was named in honor and memory of Paul's mother, Jeanette Fenton. Please keep the family in your prayers as we navigate whatver is to come. God Bless each of you and we love you all.
