We were playing with some new ideas after returning from Lancaster, PA, where I had purchased some multi-colored hand dyed wool locks.

The outcome is a lovely, fine, thick-and thin wool yarn, fortified with a polyester binder. The background is black, with spaced sparks of blues, terra cotta reds, some golden yellows, and random greens.

In total, there are 26 ounces (750mg), enough to make a sweater or a longer tunic.

Wool-Tone Solids is a 100% wool, fingering-weight, heathered yarn, giving it a painterly effect. Knit using US #3 needles; or, double-stranded using US #6 needles. Hand-spun and hand-dyed in Pennsylvania, USA.
