So excited to be mending one of my favorite skirts!

This homemade 1970s-ish diagonal bias plaid is such a gorgeous beauty! When I was a kid, our next door neighbor wore skirts like these at the holidays, and I always love them. So I was thrilled when I found this one at the thrift store.

But it does have a few holes. It was an exciting opportunity to work in black and white for me, since normally I'm such a color nut.

But this color scheme is so crisp, and it really shows off the architecture of the patch pattern.

Tonight, I thought I was sewing on the last patch... But then I found one more! So I have to make an extra and sew that baby on too.

Fingers crossed, I'll have a video soon.
