These old supplies are like gold because they can't be manufactured anymore. Too energy intensive, and the long staple cotton is no longer grown.

These stunning vintage colors are rarer than a hen's tooth! Finding them feels like a gift from the universe. Thank you to my spirit team for listening to my request for more supplies, especially blues... they're for my BIGGEST project yet.

Stay tuned, and wish me luck! I've never done this before...

I love fixing lace! Even though it can look intimidating, mending our treasured lace objects is absolutely possible (just not easy 🙂...) Shout out to for terrific demos of the technique with the pins.

Seeing the smile on my client's face made this all worth it. She thanked me several times, " Oh my gosh that's amazing! I'm so pleased to have my dress back!" Just knowing she'll be happily wearing it again makes my heart feel warm.

What's next? A crochet lace mend... Stay tuned!

I feel so honored to be trusted with these lovely shorts. A big thank you to "Stratford in Stitches" fiber arts group at Stratford upon Avon. I've enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people there, including the owner of this subtle mend.
