Proof of life. We’re still here making candles. Our first post since February (!)

We welcomed a new member to our little family in the spring. We quietly kept up orders for our regular customers and retailers over the summer and fall but obviously had little time to invest in this space. Now that we’re emerging from the fog that is the first half a year of parenthood, we’re ready for our busy holiday season.

We’ve been unintentionally quiet here for a couple of months. It was nice to have the time to focus on making candles, spending time with family, and on demanding non-candle work projects. Hope you are taking time for yourselves and having a relaxing Sunday like Carter.

When we were developing the fragrance for our Ginger & Sandalwood candle, we thought a lot about the intersections of scent, color, and memory. We landed on a spicy, earthy, but fresh scent inspired by one of our favorite drinks from a bar in Oregon. Warm, comforting, and a bit unexpected, everything we love in a fragrance.
