The Sawmill has added a number of new products in 2020 with establishing Alaska's only dealerships with MAS Epoxies, Wisebond Epoxies and Rubio Monocoat products. We have broadened our accessories, product and application knowledge and improved the access of these products and our services to Alaskans to include shipping to customers in Barrow, Dillingham, Valdez and Kotzebue to Fairbanks, the towns on the Kenai Peninsula and places in between.
For 2021, the Sawmill has ordered a commercial slab flattening system and look to have it received and operational in March with a maximum capacity of 6' wide by 17' long and 8" thick. We look to improve our local and imported log and slab gathering capabilities, workshop, retail and warehousing area's and provide in-depth and hands-on classes to the general public and corporate team building efforts.
2020 brought us all challenges and changes and the hopes for a better 2021. In closing 2020, the Sawmill wishes thank all our customers, friends, employees, product and service providers for your supporting the Eagle River Sawmill & Kiln a local veteran owned small business.
