Asking an interior designer to de-character (pretty sure I made that up) their home to list for sale might be the hardest thing for us to process.

6 years ago I packed my 3 kids for a fresh start in a new place we’d never been to.

This was my first home I purchased. Just me. There was a lot of learning, growing, laughing, crying healing and creativity to grow my design skills.

We’re ready for the next challenge and adventure and I’m taking you along.

Savoring lots of love for this little home and sharing some of my favorite corners as she finds her new owner.

I knew from a young age I liked the good stuff. As a kid I would be happy to walk through Nordstrom and just look at all pretty stuff. I’d sit at my grandparents and just stare at the art, china, furniture.

I was a total snob when it came to thrifting, yard sales etc. My fear of germs, dirt, smells, digging for things held me back.

As my interior design career grew I saw more and more how awful fast fashion was. We were paying so much for junk!

I saw what other designers were finding and knew I had to at least try.

The first time I stepped in a thrift store I decided to tell myself there were treasures waiting to be rescued from the next DIYer who was going to spray paint or drill a hole in that antique china.

It worked.

Once I started sourcing collections for my clients, I knew it was something I couldn’t duplicate with traditional add to cart and check out. Not anymore.

Does it take time, yes! Is it worth is? No question.

Creating thoughtful, one of a kind, curated and earth friendly spaces has become the center of my creative heart.

I still can’t stand a Tjmaxx or Ross 🤣

The only thing that was purchased new is the basket which was just a stand for the coffee maker till it gets here.

More of our Camano Island beach house project and a fun little announcements.

80% of the decor for this house was sourced second hand. Antique brokers, estate sales, thrifting and flea markets. I spent 7 months collecting and curating.

We will now be offering limited collections to all of you. Stay tuned and make sure check back to grab your favorite treasures.
