The space… the vibe. 🍂

As we find inspiration for our upcoming Market, and look back through memories of these shops, we’re always reminded of what makes them so special. We are creating spaces for you to share a laugh in or a long awaited hug. It’s the moments you spend connecting with your people. The feeling of finding something new that you love for the upcoming season. The little pieces that somehow make their way home with you and become part of your story.

It’s so much more than a place to shop. You are the vibe. And seeing you find pieces you love, gather with your people, and make memories here is what makes these spaces feel like home🖤

I’m not sure when it happened but decorating for Halloween has become just as much of tradition around here as decorating for Christmas🖤

Over the past several years my love for Halloween decorating has grown so much at both the shops and at home! I find myself unpacking my Halloween decor with the same excitement as I do my Christmas decorations. It’s all about the sense of tradition, the memories and the cozy it brings to your home✨

Lulu and I took a little time out of our crazy schedule this weekend to decorate!! And when I say we decorated, I mean we got part of it done because undoubtable I will add little bits throughout the season😂

We had help unpacking from Mr. Butters, baked a cake for Kasey (a belated bday treat) and then we enjoyed the cozy flickering lights as the night settled in! It was just what we needed🖤

When August Market began we never could have believed what it would become✨

The weeks of setup leading up are filled with you in mind. Hoping we can create a space where you not only discover something unique that speaks to you but a little happy place that you can get lost in and find that inspiration you’ve been craving. Market mornings are filled with jitters. Ones hoping that you come and visit our town (and seriously hoping that you show up). And it’s safe to say you DID!!!! You gathered in lines at the doors of our shops waiting for them to open each day, you travelled from states away and the next town over to experience the magic of Fall here, and most of all, we had the most amazing time meeting you and catching up with you all who have supported our dreams for years. It fills our hearts to see the streets of our town filled, to see you sitting on a Chestnut Avenue bench enjoying a sweet treat or laughing with a friend, and exploring all that our town has to offer. The dream continues and the love and support we heard and felt for Café Lulu | Coffee Shop | Earlham, Iowa this weekend was the cherry on top of the most wonderful weekend. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!! These shops wouldn’t be the special place they are without you🖤

Be sure to save the dates for more of the Fall fun in the shops! Fresh batches of Junkin’ Pumpkins will be carved and so many more memories are waiting to be made🍂

One weekend a month, but it’s always the best weekend of the month! We had so many new faces in the shops this past weekend, and the rumors are true… it’s just one weekend around here and there’s two shops filled with unique finds to explore✨ We are already busy doing what we do to create that special magic each month from sourcing new and vintage to creating displays that inspire you to create special moments in your own home. The next is always just around the corner and we are counting down until the shops are full of you again!!🍂
