Wednesday was our last day in VT. Our flight didn't leave until 6:30pm, so after a quick walk along Lake Champlain (where we found a sign that we did indeed have to go back to SC), we spent the entire day at The Shelburne Museum. 20 pictures doesn't even begin to convey the vast collections that are housed within the 39 buildings of this museum. If you're curious... Gilded age sugar heiress, Electra Havemeyer-Webb ....fascinating woman!

Started day 4 with breakfast at the local diner...grab a book on the way in and order the pancakes. Diner coffee on fleek. Never too many drives along Lake Champlain to see if we can spot "Champ" ...the lake's Nessie! Back to Burlington to visit April Cornell's flagship store where we scored some beautiful one of a kind textiles for Circa! We just missed April...she had just left for the day! The theater was getting a sign change for one of my favorite jazz singers Samara Joy ! A quick drive across the lake to the islands for another maple creemee at Allenholm Farm. Mums...pumpkins...trees...bridges and small town charm. Grabbed dinner to go from the local deli and market!
