I opened Big Apple BBQ Center in 1989 as NYC’s first and only specialty retail store exclusively selling barbeque equipment and propane gas. And recognizing the difficulty so many metropolitan area New Yorkers faced in getting propane for their grills, we pioneered the propane gas home d
elivery industry and created two specialty propane delivery services - “Tony’s LPG” and more recently, “Big Apple Propane.”
Today, Big Apple BBQ is a full-service barbeque center providing sales, delivery and service of barbeque grills, smokers, patio heaters, chimineas, fire pits, BBQ tool sets, grill accessories and even replacement grill parts. And of course, the propane to heat things up. Our line of grills include propane and natural gas grills, charcoal grills, infrared grills, and electric grills, too. Our service department is the best in the industry, and staffed by our dedicated team of professionally-trained technicians. Unlike our competitors such as the “big box” stores or other online stores, being in the business for so many years has given us valuable hands-on experience with just about every make and model of barbeque grill for the last two decades.
