Yesterday we got to photograph our Project, and I couldn’t be more excited to share the finished product.

Natural materials, a clean yet warm palette, and a stronger connection to the outdoors were at the heart of this project. To me, it feel modern and understated, yet warm and inviting.

We collaborated with to reimagine the layout & add in more windows, and .construction beautifully executed the vision, including that floating plaster range hood! More to come from this one soon. 🤍

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to speak on a panel about “editorial thinking in a scroll first world” at High Point Market. It was such a thoughtful conversation around how we capture our work to tell a story, and create meaning beyond the scroll.

A century of renovations had taken The Sip & Ski Lodge far from its roots. We reimagined the layout, relocating the kitchen to the heart of the home, restoring original details like the staircase and pocket door, and bringing back its historic charm while making it work for modern living. I love a dramatic before and after, and this one delivers! We replaced laminate floors with solid white oak, swapped dated cabinetry for beautiful flush inset cabinetry, and upgraded the countertops to beautiful natural stone. What was once an open room off the kitchen is now a cozy breakfast nook, complete with a coffee bar. We painted just about every surface in the house!
