Every kitchen we design starts with the same question: how will this family actually spend their time here? At Six Twelve, that meant creating a space where you can prep dinner and still be part of the conversation happening in the next room, and relocating a stairwell to make room for a dining nook to catch casual meals. ⁠

As for the design, rich walnut cabinetry sits against a backdrop of Carrara marble countertops, a plaster hood and sleek paneled appliances, while the island in a unique slab of Paonazzo marble serves as the centerpiece of the room.⁠

Meet Brianna, our Interior Designer here at Hill & Harbor. With seven years of experience in luxury residential design, Brianna leads clients through the full design and selections process, helping shape homes that reflect how each family actually lives. Known for her client-first approach, she believes that great design is found in the details. ⁠

Brianna has been instrumental in expanding Hill & Harbor’s services to include furnishings and fully styled, move-in-ready homes, bringing a level of finish that clients don’t have to coordinate on their own.⁠

She’s a Massachusetts native with a degree in Interior Design from New England Institute of Technology, and can be found spending her time outside of work with loved ones and serving as a youth group leader and Sunday school teacher at her local church.⁠

By specializing in historic properties, we see the unique character of each house as an opportunity, not a limitation. Every original detail tells a story, and our goal is to carry that story forward into the new design. ⁠

At Six Twelve, a stately 1930 Mediterranean style house on a corner lot, the exterior is defined by a brick facade, arched windows, and black iron gates. These original details inspired the direction for the renovation, including a second floor addition designed to blend in while offering slight contrast.⁠
⁠
Fun fact: in the front yard stands “The Great Black Oak”—the oldest known oak tree in Providence, estimated to be over 350 years old. ⁠

What was once a dated, closed-off space is now flooded with natural light and feels expansive without losing the definition of the room. ⁠New wood beams, floors and a custom iron door complete the living room with a grounded warmth that feels in line with the rest of the home. ⁠
