Remember this morning's sunrise?

I turned onto our road tonight just as the sun was setting and paused my drive to snap these photos of the beautiful sky, a crane fishing in a stream, and a dozen deer munching on both sides of our road.

It's moments like these that remind me that part of Spoon River Drive is the actual drive and to pause to appreciate the beauty of these rural roads.

Well, here we are! After two weekends of fall fun, TODAY is the FINAL DAY of Scenic Drive Barn Fest at Historic Walnut Grove Farm!

Day 1, Week 2 at Walnut Grove Farm has begun for me and my fellow vendors.

This location has an amazing vibe - a beautiful setting with unique artwork plus there is no traffic, the parking is on-site just steps away from the barn, and HyVee is serving inexpensive food and drinks.

If Knoxville isn't on your traditional Spoon River path, I highly recommend you add it today or next weekend or both - you won't regret it!

In addition to Walnut Grove Farm, this area also features Prairie Moon Farm, the Knox County Fairgrounds and downtown Knoxville all within a 5 minute drive so there are approximately 200 vendors in this area with no traffic jams!

Open 9-5 Saturday and Sunday.

I'm ready for Day 1, Week 2 at Walnut Grove Farm for the Spoon River Drive.

I'm here from 9-5 today and tomorrow and my show special is a free pumpkin truck or Jack o"lantern with the purchase of any 2 items.

My prep work for the 2nd Weekend of Spoon River Drive is done and here is a preview of the designs that I will be bringing to Walnut Grove Farm.

If you haven't been to Walnut Grove Farm, it has an amazing vibe - it is a beautiful, serene setting filled with unique, handcrafted artwork. Plus there is no traffic, the parking is on-site just steps away from the barn, HyVee is serving inexpensive food and drinks, and Prairie Moon Farm is just 5 minutes away with 100+ vendors, live animals, and traditional pumpkin patch activities.

If Knoxville isn't on your traditional Spoon River path, I highly recommend you add it - you won't regret it!

P.S. I was originally planning on bringing just my Winter designs this week but my fellow vendors talked me into displaying my remaining Fall pieces - what do you all think? Are you still looking for Fall and Halloween?
