Peter Tast travels the world to capture his art. Just back from a recent trip he selected these four examples for us to frame for his gallery. There is about 8000 miles between these photos. One of natures most magnificent displays is a Dogwood tree in full Bloom. In our spring window, all flowers & birds, we have 14 different framed prints, 11 Louise Bales & 3 Audubon. In our brief time posting online we have mentioned Louise several times. That is because no one captures a Dogwood, a flower or a bird quite like Louise. I meet Louise about 20 years ago at the Cliff Dwellers gallery while visiting my sister in Tennessee and thus an addiction was started. The window is a big hit with the passers by even though we are not open. Bless you .bales because of you it is springtime at Rogers Picture Framing all year.

One of the beauties we have ready for our upcoming Spring window display. This print is Cardinal Grosbeak by John James Audubon - namesake of the National Audubon Society. Decor frame, Crescent mat, hand-drawn French lines, gold fillet and non-glare glass complement this lovely piece perfectly.

Here's a fabulous collection of memorabilia we framed showcasing Led Zeppelin's July 17, 1977 show at the Kingdome in Seattle. This was the last leg of their final North American tour which was cut short by the death of Robert Plant's son. Note the $18 ticket price! Some of remember those days😉

Here they are...the famous Jerry Garcia Ties! Each of these is autographed by Jerry.

For those of you who don't know, the ties are the brainchild of Irwin Sternberg who, after seeing Garcia's "Fish" piece, recreated it into a tie. It then took him a year to convince Garcia to do the line of neckwear, but in 1992 the J. Garcia Art-In-Neckwear collection was introduced via Sternberg's company Stonehenge Ltd. We love this piece! Decor frame...triple Crescent matting...Tru Vue Museum glass. These ties can still be found for sale and we'd love to create something beautiful with them for you too.
