It’s been a summer.
My dog died, one of my best friends died, I am caring for a declining parent, dealing with my own health challenges, and have a full-time job in addition to running my little card company. Today, I was hit by a wrong way driver. I am fine, and so is my car, but it really felt like the icing on the cake to a pretty terrible couple months.
This may not be the best way to say thank you for supporting me, but you keep me going by allowing me to being creative. Seeing you laugh when you are flipping through my cards at events is what keeps me going. My favorite compliment was when someone once asked me, “Are you drunk when you design these?” My response? “No comment.”
If we don’t laugh when things are hard, we will just cry, right? So that’s where many of these new, very snarky, sometimes inappropriate, cards came from. I hope they make you smile.
