This has been my mantra for years. My purpose of running my business isn’t to get rich, I will never sacrifice time with my children for the almighty dollar. I have turned down opportunities because my kids come first, and always will. They are only tiny for a short time. I have always been successful in the corporate aspect and even with promotions believe in work life balance. Could I make more money … sure. But I have all I need and it continues to flow to me cause I know the things that drive me. The beauty of owning your own business is doing it your own way. I get given advice to grow and while I appreciate it I like the way I’m flowing and rocking. You may see me more often at karate with my son, or playing at the park with my little one on weekends when many are doing markets every weekend. As they grow, that might change. But what’s next for Fran’s Brew is putting two tiny boys to bed, kissing tiny toes, reading stories, and cuddling them for as long as they allow me. I know the things that hold great value for me. Remember that for yourself.
