It’s been a busy summer and I haven’t spent nearly enough time in the shop. But things are slowing down a little bit and I’m trying to steer my focus back to the shop and finish up some projects and then get into full holiday prep mode.

I’m currently working on a closet organizing system. Making several freestanding pieces that will all be assembled together in place. A staircase and a small overall closet footprint stand in the way from making one large piece to put in place. Hoping to get some turning in this week as well!

Cherry bowls are now available in the Etsy shop!

The color and grain pattern on these are really beautiful! This series of bowls came from the cherry tree that uprooted on our property last year. I am thrilled we were able to salvage some of the lumber. It has made some lovely pieces. These will look even better as they age and the color darkens further.

Wedding season is in full swing and wooden bowls make the perfect heirloom gift!

Well I intended on having the cherry bowls available at the end of last week. But between family visiting from out of town for the 4th and then getting hit with a summer flu it didn’t happen. Feeling more like normal today and working on getting them finished up. Hoping to have them all listed by the end of the day tomorrow (07/08). I’ll post an update when they are available. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend!
