Personalized macaroons!! Dang these are CUTE! Trust me, you don’t want me to be baking your macaroons, but I will be happy to laser engrave them for you. Perfect for a baby shower, birthday party, wedding favors! Entirely edible. I can laser engrave tortillas, hamburger buns, lemons - amazing!!

To all my friends who are members of the Women’s Club, or who went to ECU or UNC-G and lived in Cotten Hall, or love the history of Roanoke Island and Virginia Dare, or who simply rejoice in hearing of strong and beloved women who fought for the things we take for granted (Child labor reform, the right for women to sit on school boards, prison reform, establishment of public libraries, to name a few), here’s a name you will recognize. ‘The White Doe’ by Sallie Southall Cotten. Published in 1901, this lyrical poem is full of engravings and maps, and really is grand.

Oh DANG, these are cute! High-end, heavyweight bamboo cooking spoon, with a great heart-shaped end and hanging hole. The spoon can be personalized on the handle (please see photo with handle examples), and the bowl text can be reversed for hanging display purposes. These are definitely heirloom and gift quality - none of that roughness that you see in flimsy dollar utensils! $16 A date can be added on the back of the bowl for an additional $3.

Want a little something different for your Christmas decorating? Want to add a little electrifying green to your red and gold glitter? How about a little uranium?! Yep, grandma’s green depression glass had just enough uranium in to make it glow when exposed to ultraviolet light. Eating your tomato soup out of a bowl would not have killed you, but they did stop making this glass during the war in order to save uranium for bombs. Come check it out at Broad Street Bazaar in downtown Edenton! (I’m not expecting those Imperial plates to last long!)

I picked up this gorgeous period chest a week or so ago. Solidly constructed of pine (including secondaries) in the late 1700s. Two short/two deep over three. Beautiful valanced apron forming bracket feet. Solid backboards with floating splines. Not original finish, and the original brasses have been replaced, with original borings evident.
