If he doesn't know the answer he will either help you find one or do the research for you. We started selling like most do.... accumulated too much excess! So in 1976 we had our first Garage Sale. This went over so well we had more. Then we found ourselves going to others and added auctions to the mix *more excess*. So, in September we loaded a borrowed small motorhome with our many boxes of "treasures for others", plywood, sawhorses and a roll of painter's plastic and headed off to our local outdoor FLEA MARKET. WE HAD A BLAST! As they say "The rest is history". We avidly research our items as well as constantly look to broaden our horizons and even attended The Road Show in Des Moines Iowa in 2001. In October of 2003 we opened our next door shop and named it Ruby's Room. We then in 2006 launched our online shop business through Ruby Lane at: www.rubylane.com/shops/rubysroom. (how PERFECT this site is to expand once more). Our areas of expertise include: Vintage Christmas items, marbles (end of the day glass), houze glass, ephemera (paper), fountain pens, battle worn military, victorian clothing and products, ag and farm memorabilia, railroad memorabilia, vintage holiday items, hot wheels, McDonald's, vintage buttons and more. We sell online exclusively throught our Ruby Lane shop. We are able to pick and choose items we would like to send to an auction site so RARELY on occasion you may still check us out on EBAY ... search for seller: *oleagleeye*. Due to an extensive fire that burned down our decorated "holiday/antique" shop in February of 2015 I have chosen to either sell on line or at "flea markets" (please see my schedule). My newest decision to "liquidate" my entire inventory and pursue my "retired" version of my true joy and passion provides a limited version of my former business.
