History of bells started with the advancement of metallurgy in ancient China. In 2000 BC, fist bells started to appear, slowly managing to infuse themselves into Chinese culture, religion and the way of life. As the centuries went on, creation of bells became an art, giving an artist a chance to infuse on them various images and themes that attracted the attention for Royalty and nobility in China.

Before Christianity even appeared, bells were viewed as a musical instrument of the gods, as items that can carry the will of the gods across the land, provide peace, clear minds, exile bad spirits and provide happiness.

Shoe clips were debuted in or around the 18th century. They were an alternative dressing for women to spruce up their appearance with the need to own less shoes. Jewelry for your feet so to speak. As shoes became cheaper to purchase, the need to own clips slowly faded away. Perhaps looking in the bottom of our closets at all the dusty unworn shoes gives us pause on thinking of actually how many shoes can get worn at once...Only a spider or octopus would actually need the amount we collect at any one time...🤔 👢👠🥿👞 😆🤦‍♀️
