Stop buying 🍁 based off percentages!

Study after study is proving that high potency has zero correlation with the strength or enjoyment of your buzz.

HIGH TIMES recently highlighted a study that showed the entourage effect from a broad range of minor cannabinoids and terpenes, not Tee H Cee potency, is responsible for the strength and duration of the plants effects.

And last year a Swiss science journal published a study that showed a pleasant aroma (to the user) is more indicative of a users likelihood of enjoyment than potency is.

Long story short: the nose knows - so buy what smells good to you and don’t worry about potency.

Did you know that worker owned companies tend to perform better than normal ones?

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that when employees own an interest in their companies they treat the business more like owners (because they are).

That means improved efficiencies and better long term planning, resulting in higher job satisfaction, more profits, and fewer layoffs.

Ultimately we decided to build The Honeybee Collective as an employee owned company because we thought it was the right thing to do - but aside from the moral case, it turns out there’s a strong business case for it as well.

"Platforms such as SMBX and Mainvest are gaining traction in the Denver area, giving local business owners a new path in alternative financing."

Hot off the press: Chris Becker, co-founder and director of business development for The Honeybee Collective, said his company previously raised $241,000 on Mainvest.

“The company was spending a great deal of time on getting in touch with high net-worth investors and other funding options, Becker said, so they decided to redirect that time and effort to a crowdfunding campaign. As a mission-driven company that is employee-owned, he said the community engagement that came with being on Mainvest supported The Honeybee Collective perfectly.

"What better way to create community wealth than through investments in our company?" Becker said.

Now, the company is targeting a financing round of $50,000 to expand its brand into the recently legalized cannabis industry in New York.
