Pincushions! Tiny vintage salt cellars, jello molds, ceramic baby shoe and votive pincushions. They are filled with a combination of ground walnut shells and fiberfill and topped with a beaded pin. I’ve been collecting supplies for this project for a while and finally got around to doing it for BarnBurners next weekend.

Halloween Hoopla at Harstene Pointe. Kids as well as adults enjoyed Halloween this year with pumpkin carving, haunted cookie house decorating, dance party, scavenger hunt, and trick or treating.

I have been “dyeing” for this weekend’s sale, but because of the air quality and all the fires in the area we are going to reschedule to next weekend. September shopportunity update!!! We have another artist joining our ranks. Toni Smith of Spingarden Creations is a friend from Arachne Spinners Guild, she will be bringing hand spun yarn and wire wrapped stones that she cuts and polishes. Greetings from The Aunt Farm and George.
on August 15th we hosted a Covid-19 aware yard boutique. We have decided that we will do it again in September on Saturday the 12th from 10-3, by appointment only. It will be myself, Alyssa Carpenter, Ericka Carpenter Gettle and we will be joined by Elizabeth Archer Klein of Kleinink who will be selling her beautiful art. If you would like the opportunity to shop in person contact one of us for an appointment time. We would also like to invite virtual guests. We can FaceTime or zoom call and let you shop/browse. We are setting the stage for the Sumner Virtual Night Market that will be happening this Saturday August 15th. Because we are putting up displays, pulling everything together and getting organized we have decided to do a “socially distanced” shopportunity for those of you in the area. We will set up our show tent and display our wares in the yard, wear masks, supply hand sanitizer and hope the animals are on their best behavior. Today is the first day of The Virtual Sumner Night Market. It is the first virtual market Alyssa Carpenter, Ericka Carpenter Gettle and I have taken part in. As all of the "in person" shows have been suspended we are pursuing new ways share our talents. Please check this event out.
