Curated and anchored by Habitation Furnishing + Design, The District houses showrooms ranging from flooring to kitchens, from lighting to custom closets, from furniture to art. The building even sports a working artist studio and fine art gallery. The District Edina is not, however, a retail location. It is more closely associated with the famous Design Districts of Miami or West Hollywood in that its focus is projects and clients and not floor sales and retail customers. In keeping with this concept is The District Edina’s top-floor common area called the Flex Space. Surrounded by windows, the Flex Space features a built-in bar, lounge seating, and intimate work areas: the perfect place for District partners to meet with clients, designers, and the like to collaborate on projects and consider offerings from the showrooms in the building. The Flex Space is large enough for tenants to host seminars or host social events for their businesses as well. In a phrase, the Flex Space is the social heart of The District Edina and beats with the mission to foster deeper, more meaningful relationships among its design and remodeling partners and clients.
