Variety. Challenges. Accomplishments. At the end of the day, looking back on a display of varied custom framed presentations offers immense satisfaction to a creative person. Knowing that you need to design personal, distinct projects forward, extinguish unexpected fires, and always learning something new along the way creates a sense of achievement- when one stops to “smell the roses!”

Enjoy a recent display of the variety (and diversity of skill sets needed) awaiting pickup. Any project that catches your eye?

Here’s the next project. Just needed to expand my joining table to accommodate this frame. (Stay tuned for this completed project… now delayed due to mis-cutting 1 of the 12 legs….sigh…more moulding on order)

Here’s the completed Stitchery project that was highlighted in my previous post. This client is such a precision Stitcher that I’m always honored to be a part of the legacy of the projects that she creates for her grandkids. The reverse side of this stitched project is just as clean as the front. For those of you that stitch you know that that is a mastery level.

In case you missed it check out my previous post as to some of the extra customization that went into this Framing project. As always, I appreciate your comments - and shares!

“Customization” is always a part of my “custom framing!” Taking extra steps to create a custom color for the fillet which will accent this sampler is one reason Framing Solutions isn’t your usual frame shop. If I “don’t have it” I’ll create it!

I love textiles-and as a former stitcher myself, I am in awe of the hours it takes for creating any stitched work. Celebrate your achievement and let frame it!

A special note card which touches your heart is a perfect item to custom frame. This note card with its beautiful quilling and touching note is a perfect example. Framed with a deep rose toned frame, a rich navy mat, and a decorative pink-marbled inner accent liner, a personal note has been transformed into timeless wall display.

Hang onto your seat! Here’s an explosion of 32 fabulous, diverse examples of “the ART of Custom Framing.” Journey through this photo gallery of how one image framed by very creative Custom Framing DESIGNERS - exemplify the creative diversity in our trade.

In advance to a current European trade-show, Custom Framers were given the same art print. For their Framing designs, there were no rules or guidelines. (One could equate this to my industry’s “fashion show.”)

This gallery shows the true artistry in Custom Framing, proving again, there is not just one way to frame any art…and through these 32 presentations you’ll discover how true that statement is!

So grab a favorite beverage and journey through this gallery. Take note of the unique, innovative, and unconventional details. VOTE your top 3 favorites - let’s see my FB community show their preferences! There are no rights and there are no wrongs. Just Enjoy and share your comments!!! Have Fun!

A lovely needlepoint family treasure was brought in so that it could be displayed in their home. (This project is from one of my longest clients, who began Framing with me over 11 years ago when I just opened my business!) She entrusted me to create something lovely for her home with her needleart. Incorporating narrow mats focusing on the image and a victorian profile frame.

I’d love to hear your comments on how this presentation came out. And, if you’re not following my Facebook or Instagram pages, I invite you to do so!

From “pieces to fully restored!” This project came in with broken glass, and parts of the Frame had actually come loose and we’re broken off. From a disassemble to gluing and painting, working to match a unique grey tone that highlights the piece, this was a multiple day project – but the results brought a tear to this customer’s eyes. She couldn’t wait to hang Hang It back in her house.

There’s many different types of rewards for a Custom Framer, but the best reward is always the happiness and joy that one sees bring back in a customer’s eyes when they see their final project completed!
