Mark Maggiori's legendary western scenes and breathtaking skies shine through in his stunning paintings. However in this limited edition print his sketch is elevated by a subdued tones that empowers the scene of a simplistic peaceful moment of a man and his horse. The warm to dark charcoal color palette masterfully sets the mood. We complemented by the mixed tone dark metallic Mat and deep bronze frame.

This was fabulous artwork to frame! “Where the wild things are” is my Customer’s son‘s favorite book, and they found this exceptional piece of artwork. Created by incorporating multiple layers of acrylic, these laser cut images were cut and stacked together. With the stacked layers of acrylic, the edges were not level and traditional methods of production could not be used. This is we’re having over 25 years of learning, various types of products and skill sets pays off!

Where the Wild Things Are is a classic 1963 children's book by Maurice Sendak (who also created all the illustrations) is about a boy named Max who, after being sent to bed without supper for misbehaving, imagines sailing to an island of monsters, becoming their king, and leading a "wild rumpus" before returning home to find his supper still hot.

We always want you to love your art projects! At Framing Solutions, you receive a 30 day design guarantee where if it “doesn’t work”, we’ll redesign it.

While this customer LOVED her completed project, however, when she had it in her home… the concept didn’t work in her overall home decor. It was a “heavier” presentation with the darker frames than any other art on her walls. She asked for a redesign and we re-visited the concept and her presentation goals. So here’s the “new” design with its “lighter”presentation!

It’s rare to get to compare designs side by side so share which is your favorite!

An 8x10 stretched canvas with its soft colored tones was a special challenge. Initially, this is going into a small child’s room with in the future. It may hang anywhere in a home. When I design, I believe that when you frame to the artwork correctly, it should be able to hang anywhere.

Initially, the Customer and I went down a different path with a couple of other Frames as the selection. And we moved onto design some other pieces for them. We ran out of time, scheduled a second return to finish the design consultation. During this extra time, I continue to look at other options for this piece. And when I place this textured cream tone frame with the soft green, I knew we had the right combination. When they returned to see the new combination, they were thrilled. They were thrilled that I continued to seek other options, even though they had made a selection.

In 1977, I spent the summer working at St. Mary’s Lodge in Montana. With a couple of friends, I had the opportunity to spend three days at the beautiful Banff and Jasper parks in Canada. I was so thrilled to see this poster come in and bring back lots of memories. That’s what travel is all about being able to look at an item hanging on your walls and share the memories.

This customer wanted a rustic appearance, and after several options, he selected this two tone version of the same Moulding. And because he’s in a very kid friendly house, we used a non-glare acrylic for safety.

“Do your thing!”  It's a total thrill when someone wants me to incorporate some ‘artistic wizardry’ for their framing projects. This Kill Bill poster was a blast to create. The challenge is knowing when to yell 'whoa, Nelly!' and stop messing with perfection!

Let me know if I succeeded in making it edgy enough - or if it just brings a smile to your face, that's all the feedback I need.

These two large original sheet music were once part of a book. The two vellum (sheepskin/parchment) pages are beautifully displayed over a rich brown silk fabric and combined with a classic formal frame. The notes seem to dance to life, and you’ll “hear” the music as you look at upon them.
