This beautifully preserved piece of mid-century Americana is a vintage white milk glass mixing and batter bowl featuring a built in pour spout, manufactured by Pyrex (Corning Glass Works) for Hamilton Beach stand mixers, circa the 1940s to 1950s.
Crafted from heavy, durable, and heat resistant opaque milk glass, this iconic kitchen staple features a distinct design highlighted by three decorative horizontal ribs wrapped around the upper rim profile, complemented by an embossed factory mold number 35 on the bottom.
It stands approximately 4.5 inches tall with a top rim diameter of 6.25 inches, making it the highly sought after smaller companion bowl designed to seamlessly lock onto vintage electric mixer turntables.
Structurally sound with absolutely no cracks, this piece maintains a gorgeous, high gloss luster across its body. It shows excellent cosmetic integrity, with the only minor exception being two tiny, flea bites located strictly on the hidden underside of the base ring foot (see pictures), which are completely concealed and entirely invisible whenever the bowl is resting upright on a flat surface.
Whether you are seeking an authentic replacement piece to restore a retro appliance, looking for a functional daily helper to neatly pour pancake batter, or curating a timeless farmhouse display, this elegant mid-century relic serves as both a practical culinary tool and a gorgeous collectible.
