August is looking pretty eventful at Fleurish! 🌸✨

Here’s everything we have coming up this month:

💐 August 1 – National Girlfriend’s Day

🫖 August 8 – Calico Critter Tea Party Flower Workshop
Our next flower workshop is almost here, and we have less than 4 spots remaining! If you’ve been wanting to join us, now’s the time.

🎨 August 14 & 15 – Vase Painting Weekend
Our most popular event is back! Join us Friday and Saturday from 12 PM–8 PM to paint your own vase and build a beautiful bouquet. Because this event fills up so quickly, we’ll be taking reservations only to make sure everyone has a spot.

A $5 non refundable reservation fee is required to reserve your spot, but that $5 goes toward your total when you arrive, so it’s simply a deposit to hold your reservation.

🖌️ August 29 – NEW! The Floral Watercolor Club
I’m so excited to finally share this new event with you all! 🌼

Join us on Saturday, August 29, from 11 AM–7 PM for a relaxing watercolor experience. Come by yourself for a little self care day, or bring your friends for a creative afternoon together.

All materials are included! Each guest will receive a pre sketched floral watercolor sheet to help guide you through creating your first piece, along with a blank watercolor page for when you’re ready to let your creativity flow and create something completely your own. 🌸

Watercoloring has always been one of my favorite hobbies because it encourages you to slow down, be present, and enjoy the creative process. I wanted to create a space where you can unplug for a while, relax, and leave with something beautiful that you made yourself.

I wanted to share something really vulnerable and personal. 🤍 I’ve never really talked about being neurodivergent as a business owner because I don’t hear many entrepreneurs speak openly about it, and I hope sharing my experience helps someone else feel understood.

This past weekend I had an event for my business, and I knew it was going to be hectic. Before I was diagnosed with autism last year, I always thought I was just antisocial because big crowds mixed with constant noise & busy environments would leave me feeling completelyy overwhelmed and overstimulated. I didn’t understand why until my diagnosis.
Now that I know what my nervous system needs… before every event, I take at least an hour completely to myself to regulate and listen to calming sounds like the ones in this video. 🤍 That quiet time is what allows me to show up calm, handle stressful situations & genuinely enjoy hosting events for you all. I wanted to share this because I used to think something was wrong with me for struggling with things that seemed easy for everyone else. Now I know I simply experience the world differently, and learning what works for me has changed everything. 🙏🏽

This is also my first time publicly sharing my diagnosis I’ve only told a handful of people in my life because tbh I was scared people would see me as less capable, especially as an entrepreneur. But the truth is, autism has become one of my greatest strengths. It shapes the way I notice details, solve problems & create, and I truly believe it’s part of what makes both me and my business unique. 🤍✨ I also think the way my brain works has helped me build genuine connections with the people I meet. 😊 I care deeply, I notice the little things, and I truly love getting to know the people who support my business. Those relationships are one of my favorite parts of what I do, and I think the way I experience the world has played a big role in that. 🤍 And finally, thank you. 🤍 To everyone who has supported my business, thank you for your kindness, your encouragement, and for allowing me to do what I love every day. I truly couldn’t ask for a better community.

I’m not a big fan of fall themed colors when it comes to florals tbh, I’m a huge spring florals kind of girl 🌸🌷 so I want to incorporate both pastel florals and fall colored florals for our upcoming menu (:

This weekend’s Garden Party event had an absolutely CRAZY turnout! 🤍🐰🌸 We had a much bigger crowd than we anticipated, but thankfully I came prepared with plenty of florals. 😅🙌🏼

I know a lot of you weren’t able to grab the Calico Critter items you wanted because they sold out so quickly. 🥹🙏🏽 If you attended this weekend’s event and missed out on something, please send me a DM! I have a shipment of new items arriving next week that was actually supposed to be here for the event, but unfortunately it got held up in customs due to the current baby Calico Critter import ban in the U.S. 🥲I know they’re becoming harder to find, but I want to continue keeping my prices fair. I don’t believe in overpricing blind bags just because they’re rare I want them to stay accessible and affordable for everyone. 🤍 Thank you all so much for the incredible support this weekend. It truly means the world to me! 🌸✨
