I was commissioned to make this quilt for a very special young man. It took me awhile (6 mos) in between my regular loyal and new quilting customers, and I learned some very valuable quilting lessons in the process! I think it turned out great and luckily so did he! Shout out to Chase Kruger and his vision!

Creating a quilt out of keepsake items is a great way to display and preserve them. This quilt was created out of Dog Show Ribbons. Very often, our clients bring us quilts that are already created and we complete them. But this quilt was designed and created from scratch and the design we chose is a French Braid. We love how it turned out, and we had a lot of fun helping this client bring her vision to life.⠀⠀⠀

We had a fabulous time creating this Noah’s Ark quilt, which showcases appliqué. The animals on this quilt are outlined using a technique called “echoing.” Isn’t it darling?
