Renata tinha toda razão: as ciabattas da Denise são as mais fáceis que já vi. Perfeitas!!

Usei:
200g farinha pra pão
150g água
10g azeite
1,5g fermento biológico
4g de sal

> numa vasilha mistura todos os ingredientes. Gosto de usar água morna pra dar uma acordada no fermento. Deixa descansando por 30min.
> faça dobras, cubra e deixe descansar por 30min. Repete o msm processo mais 2x.

Até aqui, o processo levou apenas 2h
> enfarinha a bancada, verta a massa e divida em 2 partes (retângulos). Não precisa modelar ou sovar.
> enquanto os pães crescem por mais 30min., pre-aqueça o forno a 220C e asse as ciabattas por 20min.!

Aqui os sanduíches tinham maio/pesto, mozarela, fatias de peru, mix de folhas e tomates. Yummy! 😋

Sokolatopita, a traditional Greek chocolate cake that’s rich, syrup-soaked, and incredibly moist. In Georgina’s cookbook Grrekish, she adds chopped chocolate (I used chips) and a hint of cinnamon in the syrup. On top, a thin layer of chocolate ganache. Absolutely delicious! My new favorite..

The snacks that will never disappoint you! �
Banana oatmeal cups

3 cups rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups milk
1 mashed ripe banana (~ 1 cup)
¼ cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
Chocolate chips (I used dark and white)

❥ Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a muffin pan with parchment paper cups.
❥ Place all the ingredients (leave the chocolate chips aside) together in a large bowl and mix to combine well. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.
❥ Transfer batter into prepared muffin cups, filling all the way to the top. Add the chocolate chips on top of each muffin cup.
❥Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned and the top is set.

I used to dream of a summer birthday—but August in the Southern Hemisphere is winter. Since moving to the U.S., I’ve embraced the seasons and fallen in love with fruit desserts.

This year, I skipped the chocolate cake and made a lemon cake with raspberry cheesecake ganache and raspberry jam 😋

I made the apricot and almond upside-down cake from ‘s cookbook La Vita è Dolce, and I’m completely obsessed! It’s incredibly moist and buttery. It turned out amazing, even though I only had one can of apricots. I actually love it this way—it could even be sliced like a tart!
