I started with a pile of scraps. Some weren't even the full width of fabric. most were not more than 10inch with very uneven cut edges only the white was yardage.
The pattern calls for 2.5 in strips but I cut 2 in cus there was .5 of an inch more getting used. (Less scrap to pitch.)
So i cut till i was out of fabric.
Sewed till i was out of strips.
Subcut into 2in squares till I was out.
Sewed into 6packs, till I was out of pieces.
now i Sew on the long strip.
Let's see how many it makes. Not even sure what I'm doing with the extras....

Ok. Shes done. I call it WOOF! It has Woof! Woof! Awooo! ! Embroidered into it. For a dog, a dog Lover, or the family with the dog in the neighborhood that visits everyone!

Wow. I havnt posted since April?!! I have made a few things tho. A quilt for Pat someone in the family is having a baby....

Wow. I havnt posted since April?!! I have made a few things tho. A quilt for Pat someone in the family is having a baby. Gray charm size(5") with white. I have made some kitty bookmarks a whole litter actually, 9. And I have quilted 2 quilts that would be perfect for twin girls. Ill get a Pic as there's not one on my phone. The tops have been done for a while, I just got batting and a backing for them recently and finished them up.the all over flowers worked perfectly for these 2 lil quilts. I even added a Pic of the quilting.

I have been doing some quilting on my pathfinder. This quilt was made long before I ever bought this thread. But I broke down and bought some King Tut cotton quilting thread. This thread was MADE for this quilt! The purples the blues, and even the aqua, all show up in the quilt and the thread SAME COLORS!

I have had a project going for a while. 3 quilts for the grand kids of an old friend we worked together 30 years ago. Now one of twin boys wanted quilts for his kids. I made Ryan (and his brother Tyler) quilts when they were born. Ryan decided that after his babies used his quilt when they were babies, he wanted all of them to have quilts of their own. His kids received their quilts this weekend.
