The countdown to our new home is on!

Walk through the space right now and you will see it coming together piece by piece! The flooring is down throughout. The concrete has been stained. Our office furniture has arrived and found its place. The window blinds display is being built out, and both bathrooms our designers dreamed up are finished, tile and all. Plumbing is going in, and the last of the electricity is being finished.

Soon our showroom makes the move. Then we follow.
What part of the new space are you most excited to walk into?šŸ”‘

Since 1889, we’ve seen design myths come and go. Though one keeps resurfacing every time a client grabs a pack of curtain panels off a shelf, assuming they’ll hang the same in their home as they do in the picture on the box.

At Wright at Home, we believe drapery isn’t just something you buy, it’s something you build for the room. Measured to your exact windows, hung at the right height, and chosen in a fabric weight that actually works for how the space is used, whether that’s blocking morning light, softening sound, or adding privacy after dark.

Whether it’s in a simple linen or a dramatic velvet, drapery has become the detail that finishes a room, not just something that covers a window.

What design myth should we debunk next?šŸ¤

We asked our designers one question. What’s their favorite Rowe piece, and what fabric they'd put on it?

The answers say a lot about how differently each of them thinks about a room.

Rowe is coming to our new building in FULL force, and we couldn't wait to introduce you to it through the people who'll be styling it every day. Watch to see who picked what šŸ¤

It's Moody Monday and this week we're building a room around a color that most people are afraid to commit to!🌹

Meet Rose and Marble. A living room that starts with a Rowe Bruges sofa in a dusty rose velvet, soft, warm, and a little unexpected against the moodier tones surrounding it.
Velvet like this does more than add color, it changes how a room feels to sit in. The dusty rose brings warmth and softness into a space that could otherwise lean cold and hard, especially next to the black marble like tile flooring grounding the room. That contrast is intentional. The sofa isn't trying to blend in, it's setting the tone for everything else to respond to.

From there, Lafayette Interior Fashions' drapery fabric "Julia" in Charcoal pulls in the cooler grays and blues that carry through the rest of the board. Norman USA's "Woolen Gray" fabric, used for a roman shade, adds a soft woven texture that echoes those same cool notes. Then antique oak flooring from Karndean brings the warmth back in, keeping the rose from feeling like it's floating on its own.

A sofa this color is a statement piece in any room it enters. It's the piece that gives a room a point of view. When you're ready to build a space around something with personality, call the studio to schedule your consultation!šŸ¤

MINI BUILD UPDATEšŸ”Ø

This morning, bright and early, before our team's day even started, we took a moment to walk into our new building TOGETHER for the first time since construction started. We’ve all made trips in and out since then to plan for this space, but this morning was different.

For the most part, all of our designers have their own clients and projects. So besides our bi weekly morning meeting, moments like this are rare for us. Between being on the run for our own projects and clients, we don't always get the whole team in one place to dream out loud together, but this morning we did. And it was so special to get to watch each designer’s individual style and creativity come through as we mapped out these vignettes.

Seeing everyone come together, tape measures out, mock ups being presented and reworked in real time, and all the ideas and visions flying back and forth between us all was a living reminder of how truly talented our team is.

After months of drywall, mudding, sanding, and painting, we can finally see the finish line. Our installers will be here next week, our product is already piling high at the warehouse, and soon this blank space is going to become the design studio experience we’ve been dreaming about being able to share with our community.

Stay tuned, and buckle up! Things are about to start moving fast, and we can’t wait to take you along for the ride!

This relaxing space deserved a window treatment that felt just as intentional as the space it occupies, making Alta's Natural Woven Blinds the perfect fit to turn this bathroom into a spa like retreat.

These blinds are crafted from a blend of organic materials, handwoven together so that each shade is entirely unique from the next. This collection specifically is woven from a mix of natural reeds, jutes, grasses, and bamboo.

Ready to give your space the same treatment? Come visit the studio or call to schedule a free consultation!

Since 1889, we've seen design myths come and go. Though one keeps resurfacing every time a client refuses to consider carpet because they heard it was outdated.

At Wright at Home, we believe carpet never left, it just got a much needed upgrade. Since making a real comeback in 2025, we've watched how carpet can bring back warmth and texture to a space while standing up to the trials of everyday living, thanks to real advancements in fiber technology and overall craftsmanship.

Whether it's a patterned stair runner, a bold statement rug, or just some cozy texture underfoot, carpet has become the detail that finishes a room, not the one holding it back.

What design myth should we debunk next?šŸ¤
