I'm a photographer lucky to be married to a gifted naturalist, George, who's got an amazing green thumb. He surrounds me with a menagerie of cats, turtles, hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and much more . . . all begging to be photographed. I create unique mixed media arts and crafts with innovative techniques. Starting with the designs I make from my nature photos, I print on fabric or unusual su

rfaces such as Lutradur, metal, and wood. For surfaces that won't fit through a printer, I use transfer techniques. Going beyond art that hangs on the wall in a frame, I design fabric, and come up with new utilitarian and fun ways to use my images. A passionate upcycler, I give neckties, game pieces, watches, and many more unloved items new life in my mixed media pieces and jewelry.

For the backs, I decoupaged bits from a discarded children's book, "The Kitten Twins" by Helen Wing.

Brass-colored lion charm dangles at the bottom. Silver-toned chain with magnetic clasp (easy to attach).
