Recently I installed a sump pump sensor for a customer. This device sends alerts via a phone app as well as email alert. The alert comes before the sump overflows. Also notifying you if it loses 110v electrical power. We also installed a sensor for the water heater which is located in the basement as well. We installed cameras to be able to get eyes on both locations as well.
A great system for anyone concerned about basement flooding while they are away from home or just don't go down to basement very much.
