With me starting the RMC business page and being fairly new to this I thought it couldn’t hurt to introduce myself and the WHY behind the candles.
To be completely transparent, I’m not a professional candle maker. I’m a mother of two beautiful girls that works a standard 8-5 Monday through Friday job in pediatrics where I get to hang out with some of the coolest kids ever. Although I love my job, it doesn’t pay enough especially with this ongoing inflation that seems to be here to stay. That’s left me with always having to work a second job that tends to take up most of my weekends leaving me barely any time with my daughters.
So this is where the Rylee Mae Candles comes in! I wanted to find something I could incorporate to girls into and make some money on the side. It’s a triple win really if you think about it, time with my girls teaching them to do something they may come to love as much as I do, instilling hard work and good work ethic and money to help with everyday expenses.
With that being said, orders will be taken twice a month depending on supply and demand. My goal is to have them done by the following week this giving me time to do my everyday motherly duties and be able to produce a quality product without rushing to get them done. There’s already enough stress in our lives, am I right!? 😂
