This chair and a half was huge! I was glad the customer bought extra fabric because I use every inch. Sometimes pictures don’t tell the whole story. Other than the size this chair was in great shape and required very little extra attention. After recovering, the cushions were reworked and the back one was fluffed and extra polyfil was added.

Club chairs are a staple in upholstery. They come in a many styles and this one will work great as a bedroom chair for when you need to get way from the noise. It was covered in a Schumacher fabric. This fabric was a little thin so I covered the inside of the chair with a white fabric to prevent anything from showing through from the padding.

I get asked often what is my favorite piece to work on? I would say channel backs are at the top of my list. They do take some skill but they are not as difficult as you would think. Especially, when you have a solid or small scale pattern that doesn’t need pattern matching. I also think they look great when finished! Let me know what you think.

I always appreciate when a customer sends me pictures of completed work in place. I get a lot of projects dropped off in the shop and when it leaves, I don’t get to see the final product. I know what it looks like when I’m finished but I always wonder “did it fit right?” Zoom in for the final look of this papasan chair cushion, stool and bolster. Perfection!

Another great set of club chairs and ottoman completed and out the door. The fabric was a durable tweed like fabric with specks of green making the green contrast cord a perfect finish for these chairs.
