My mom taught me how to thrift. So I know she would be absolutely thrilled about me having an antique/vintage resell business! She would have absolutely loved searching for treasures with me!
While I’m out sourcing for my business, I always find her. I think it’s her way of showing me she’s there and she’s proud of me.
I see her when I find dishes we had growing up, pictures we had on the wall, Liz Claiborne purses and clothes, Exclamation perfume, etc. I usually just smile and laugh and say “Hi Mama, it’s good to see ya!” THEN ON MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND, while thrifting with my girls, Chanda found this little gem!! This one let me know 100% she was there with us!! It was so freaking cool!! It made us so happy to see her there with us!
