It’s been a lot of late nights and long days, but seeing everything come together makes all the hard work worth it. There’s something so rewarding about creating each candle by hand and getting them ready to meet their new homes. ✨

🥔✨ The Elizabeth City Potato Festival is THIS WEEKEND! ✨🥔

Come see Co Z Candles at one of my absolute favorite local traditions — May 15, 16 & 17 in downtown Elizabeth City! 💜

This festival is especially close to my heart because not only is Elizabeth City my hometown, but this was also the VERY FIRST festival I ever attended when I started this wonderful candle journey 4 years ago. It’s hard to believe how much this little business has grown since then, and I’m beyond thankful for all of the love and support along the way. 🕯️

Our 2nd candle making class was an absolute knockout!! 🕯️✨🍷

What a wonderful time spent with moms, daughters, friends, and so many amazing people. This class had DOUBLE the amount of people and definitely DOUBLE the amount of fun 💛

One of my favorite parts is watching everyone’s eyes light up with fascination as the marbling starts to take effect inside the candle. It never gets old seeing everyone get creative and make something uniquely theirs.

🍎✨ Teacher Appreciation Week ✨🍎

This week, I created a very special custom candle set for the three most important people in my son’s school life — his teacher, his principal, and his therapist. 💛

As a parent, there are certain people who leave a lasting impact on your child’s growth, confidence, and happiness… and these three truly do.

To all of the teachers, principals, therapists, and school staff out there:
Thank you for your patience, kindness, encouragement, and dedication. You may not always realize it, but you absolutely make a difference in our children’s lives every single day. ❤️

🎉🐷🍠 40th Anniversary of the Ham & Yam Festival in Smithfield, NC! 🍠🐷🎉

And guess what… this is my very first year attending and I am SO excited! Whoo!!!

A little rain isn’t about to stop the fun — we’ll be there ready to celebrate, shop, and soak in all the festival excitement. Stop by my booth and check out all of my handcrafted candle creations (including some special festival-inspired scents 👀).

WOW… what a night!! 🕯️✨

Our very first candle making class was an absolute HIT!! Everyone had such an amazing time—so many smiles, laughs, and of course… plenty of drinks 🍷💛 It was everything I hoped for and more.

Seeing everyone create, have fun, and enjoy the experience truly meant the world to me. This is just the beginning!!

I will definitely be getting more classes scheduled, so stay tuned 👀

Huge shoutout to Mel and 2 Souls Wine Bar for hosting such a beautiful and welcoming event ❤️ I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start this journey.

I’m so excited (and honestly a little emotional) to finally share this… 💛

After a year and a half of dreaming, planning, testing, and pouring my heart into it—my candle making classes are officially happening! 🕯️✨ And just like that… the first one is already FULL. I truly can’t thank you all enough for the support. It means more than you know.

If you didn’t get a spot this time, don’t worry at all—more classes are coming! The next one is already in the works for Mother’s Day 💐 (which would make the perfect gift for our amazing moms 👩‍👧‍👦💖).

This is just the beginning, and I cannot wait to create, laugh, and make memories with all of you.

This one hits right in the nostalgia—perfect for bringing back those classic gaming memories (especially for my fellow nerds 🎮).

My son inspired this creation—he’s a huge Mario & Luigi fan, and I knew I had to turn that love into something fun and unique! ❤️
