A Message from Thrifty Stituation

We have recently seen several reviews regarding the use of fragrance in our store (this individual has posted to groups and is having people who have never been inside the store or live in this state comment and leave reviews over the socials and google- very untrue and hurtful things) and we would like to address them.

Thrifty Situation is an antique, vintage, and boutique store. Like many antique and resale shops, we use air fresheners to help maintain a clean, fresh-smelling environment due to the nature of vintage and previously owned merchandise. Our intent has never been to make anyone feel unwelcome or uncomfortable.

We understand that some individuals have fragrance sensitivities, and we genuinely empathize with those who experience them. While it is not possible to create an environment that meets every individual’s unique needs, we are always willing to listen to respectful feedback and consider reasonable accommodations whenever possible.

Our mission has always been to provide friendly customer service, unique finds, and a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. We appreciate the many customers who continue to support our small business and the kindness our community has shown us.

We remain committed to serving our customers with respect, honesty, and professionalism.
