sewing, stuffing and painting are the most important steps in creating my dolls, animals and creatures…. although I don’t use paint in every piece it’s definitely important to bring the character out in some. 🩷

Home sweet home…

although things haven’t worked out the way I had planned, it’s okay.

I’m going to spend the summer stocking up for fall markets and shipping things to YOU out there! I’ll get caught up this week, Mother Earth orders will start shipping along with everything else.

June 5th will be my SUMMERween preorder! 💚 One of my most requested Halloween monsters will be available and exclusive to this preorder.

July 1st will be this year’s Christmas in July Santa preorder… ❤️

I’m starting to feel better, my head is clearing, the anxiety is less and I may even go out into public alone this week.

Friends, I haven’t been to a thrift store in over a month. If I had to get out of my truck then Scott had to go.
Period. 🤷‍♀️

Our fall market schedule is coming soon. I hope to return to a couple, add a couple and stay a little closer to home.
It’s not what I’d hoped for this year but it’s what’s best. We will definitely be at War Eagle in October! 🙌

We are on our way home to Oklahoma from Vintage Market Days of Colorado Springs.

Our plan was to head from there to Spokane, Washington to setup at Farm Chicks. We planned a week of vacation and then over to Vintage Market Days of Northern Idaho before making our way back home.

When I booked these markets, I did the math. We had a plan to make driving 1,000’s of miles feasible. After all, this is how we make a living. All of this was before gas prices became so unstable and ridiculous.

I have a 20 foot trailer we are pulling and I can tell you how many miles we can drive per tank and how many tanks it will take to get to Washington. I did that math months ago when we decided to those markets.
Things have changed.
The math doesn’t math anymore.

We are sad. It wasn’t an easy decision.
Scott has never been to the PNW.
He loves the mountains.
We were going to stay on a river and he was going to fish. We were going to Seattle. We had a week to explore and basically do whatever we wanted between the 2 markets.

Most of all I was excited to meet you all. 💗

This was a business decision.

We are taking the next three months off the road. I’m going to build stock and get ready to see you all in the fall.

Our first fall market will be Mobile, Alabama the end of August for Vintage Market Days…
that’s only 3 1/2 tanks of gas. 😘

Stay tuned for the rest of my fall schedule but as always we’ll see you at War Eagle in October.
