my scaredy cats are either loved or creep people out… some think they look happy and some don’t…. some people think their big stitched eyes and mouth are sweet and some people are freaked out… that’s okay I don’t make them for EVERYONE to love.. I make them for the RIGHT people to love.

I did a little dollar store remake…
not what I usually do but here we go.

It was quick and honestly a little fun even though I had doubts about half way through. Like seriously, I have so much work to do and I’m playing with plastic pumpkins. 🫣

Would have I done them differently?
Absolutely.

Am I doing more?
Absolutely not.
Too much real work to do.

Do I have tons of ideas… YES!

I used spray paint I already had but it was all flat or satin. I used acrylic paint for the details. I rubbed them with wax when I was done and even though they snapped together.. I glued them.

I’ve been home from my last market a couple of days and after unpacking, cleaning and restocking groceries… I got back to work.

I’d worked literally around the clock the weekend before we left for Alabama but just couldn’t get everything finished I had started. I usually take unfinished pieces with me and work on them in the hotel but when Scott goes with me, it’s too hard.
So I left them behind. I knew I had a lot of inventory and I also knew that I had more markets coming up.

So I’ve been finishing up those pieces and I’m already loading them for the next market. So even though I didn’t finish them in time for my last market, I kinda feel like I’m ahead of the game for the next one. 🤷‍♀️is that girl math? I think that’s girl math.

anyways… my tables are clear, inventory put away and I’m working on orders.

I’m back to work today…

I had a pile of unfinished pieces when I left for my last market. I ran out of time but I had so much made that I honestly didn’t stress too much. It’s head start for the next market.

So after unpacking and cleaning yesterday it was time to get back to work. I decided to clear my tables before I get started on orders and inventory for the next markets.

I love making witches with these old ceramic shoes… I’m on the hunt for them all year.

I also drove the last 100 miles and pulling the big trailer was no different than pulling any of the other dozens of trailers I’ve pulled over the years.

I doubted myself for nothing…
The last couple of years I’ve had a lot of doubt and let too much stop me.

I need to stop that…
