Can we take a minute to appreciate this custom vent hood built by Jeff Hunter and finished by Lauren Geisler?

Plaster is definitely having a moment, and I love it. The subtle variations of cream and white Lauren created on this curved hood add so much depth and character. It’s hard to capture in photos, but trust me—it’s gorgeous in person!

Phase 1 of this art installation is complete for some long-time clients. We’ve collaborated on numerous projects over the past decade, and this one takes a more modern, minimalist direction than previous spaces—and I’m loving it.

The collection has been thoughtfully curated with customized sizing and frame selections to create a cohesive look throughout the space. One of my favorite parts of every project is commissioning custom artwork that reflects the client and the space. We’re still awaiting three original pieces, so stay tuned for the final reveal once the installation is fully complete.

Fun fact: I have samples of almost everything you need to design a remodel or new build—countertops, flooring, tile, paint colors, and more. And if I don’t have it, my reps can usually get it in my hands in record time.
