🎓✨ A new chapter is officially beginning at Cam’s Creative Corner!

Today was my first day of school! 🥐📚

I’m officially starting my ✨Bakery & Pastry Entrepreneur Occupational Certification✨, which means I’m going to be spending the next several months learning, baking, experimenting, and probably making A LOT of dishes. 😂

But seriously—I’m so excited to take something I already love doing and dig even deeper into the why behind it. From baking techniques and pastry to production and the business side of running a bakery, I’m ready to learn as much as I possibly can.

And you know what that means…

You get to come along for the ride. ❤️

You’ll probably see some new things coming out of my kitchen, some new ideas, some experiments that work beautifully… and maybe a few that don’t. 😉 And as my schedule changes, I’ll keep you posted along the way!

💁🏼‍♀️I don’t know about my fellow cottage bakers, but when I began scaling up my baking, I needed something that would take into consideration “Baker’s Math”! Yep! That’s a thing! Who knew THIS is how my math classes would pay off in adulthood! 😆 My spreadsheets are still a work in progress (thanks to my 🐈 stepping on my keyboard and deleting my progress!😫). But what I have worked for this week’s bake!👏🏻 🥯 🍞 🍪

👏🏻Prepping for bake days is so fun! Pulling the lid off my bulk starter and seeing how happy it is gets me excited to start baking for my customers and sharing my delicious sourdough goodies with you.

One of my favorite parts of running this little bakery is dreaming up new flavor combinations—and this week’s menu has a few I’m especially excited to share!

🌿 Havarti Dill Sourdough
🍅 Sundried Tomato & Roasted Garlic Sourdough
🧀 Asiago Sourdough Bagels

✨ Of course, you’ll also find some returning favorites like Classic Sourdough, Raspberry White Chocolate Scones, Chocolate Chip Scones, and my Double Chocolate Chip Sourdough Cookies. 🍞🍪

Everything is baked fresh in my home kitchen right here in Elk River.
