Let's talk pleats.

The monarch pleat is a specialized take on the classic pinch pleat, with a more structured, tailored fold that adds weight and presence to the way a panel hangs. It holds its shape and reads as finished from across the room in a way that a simpler heading just doesn't.

Pair that with woven wood shades underneath and you get two textures working together in a way that just looks right.

Julie can take a client who walks in with no idea what they want and have them walk out with a plan they're excited about. Every single time.

She listens first, asks the right questions, and has a way of making the whole process feel manageable before a single measurement has been taken. The business runs the way it does because of how much she cares about every person who walks through that door.

Julie handles the client experience, the showroom, and the operations side of things, which sounds like a job description but doesn't come close to capturing what she actually does every day. She's the reason our clients feel taken care of from the first phone call to the final install.

Sometimes we show up in the middle of the story.

The wallpaper was chosen, the draperies matched perfectly, and the room was well on its way to something really special. But it still needed privacy and light control that could hold its own in such a well-designed space.

Those windows aren't small. Neither was the project.

This is Legacy Post & Beam in Fremont, NE, and those soaring angled windows are exactly as impressive from the inside as they look from out here. Adding automated window treatments throughout the space required a lift, careful measurement, and the kind of problem-solving that comes from years of doing this work.

We love projects like this one. Not just because of the challenge, but because Legacy Post & Beam is a local Nebraska business, and there's something really satisfying about one locally owned company helping another build something they're proud of.
