Us☀️ Happy Flag Day!

Five years ago, what began as a Flag Day celebration (and a surprise baby shower for one of our team members!) turned into an annual Drafting By Design tradition. Today, it has evolved into our Summer Picnic—a day dedicated to bringing together our team, friends, and families.

This year's event featured great food, plenty of laughs, and our annual tie-dye competition. Even with the summer heat, everyone had a fantastic time.

We are thankful for the people who make Drafting By Design such a special place to work and grow. Here's to another year of teamwork, creativity, and tradition.

What used to be a bank… is now one of Elkton’s go-to coffee spots.

We worked with Rise & Grind to transform a former PNC building into a modern, welcoming café — taking it from financial transactions to daily connections.

From documenting existing conditions to developing the full commercial layout, this project shows how the right design can completely reimagine a space.

🎉 Celebrating 12 Years – Tatiana Galindo

Over the past 12 years, we’ve had the privilege of watching Tatiana grow both professionally and personally.

She started with us on the mechanical side, but from the beginning, she was always willing to step in wherever needed — even taking on architectural work when it wasn’t part of her original role.

From smaller projects to supporting major work with Fortune 500 companies, her growth, versatility, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our team and our clients.

Along the way, she’s also given back — mentoring through ACE and continuing to support the next generation entering the industry.

And outside of work, we’ve seen her grow her family as well — welcoming her twins and building a beautiful life alongside her career ❤️

In the early days, she even helped with social media efforts, always stepping up wherever the team needed her.
