Since the craftshow hoopla is done, I decided to go back to my first love, knitting.
I'm making myself a wintery fair isle tam. Its a great pattern called Gretchen's Easy Tam by

I began by fiberarts journey in 2010 by learning to knit from . It then evolved into crochet when I watched her video on crochet basics. The rest is history. Although I crochet much more than knit, I still thoroughly enjoy both. I find manipulating stitches to make unique shapes for toys is much easier with crochet. Making toys is still my favorite but there is nothing like the satisfactory feeling of completing a knit garment to wear.
