We love client concept meetings because this is where all the fun details start to come to life! It’s often the first time our clients can truly envision what their new space will look and feel like.

We bring the design to life with material samples to touch and feel, detailed renderings to visualize the space, and a walkthrough of every element and selection of the design. Our goal is for clients to leave feeling excited, confident, and clear on the vision for their project.

This is one of the main steps of planning before demo begins and renovations officially get underway. We love seeing it all start to come together!

Some of the most productive days happen when everyone is in the same room, or in this case, on the same job site.

We love when schedules align and we’re able to walk through a project alongside the vendors, contractors and trades. It gives everyone a chance to work through details together, make decisions in real time, and keep the vision moving forward.

This project is coming together beautifully, and we’re so excited to watch the next stages unfold.

This past weekend, Canyons Design and Interiors had the privilege of designing the tablescapes and decorations for the Blank Canvas Party, hosted in Phoenix Alley in downtown Ellensburg.

The evening was all about supporting local art and investing back into downtown Ellensburg, raising funds to help revitalize alleyways and bring beautiful murals to life that tell the story of our community. Through both silent and live auctions featuring incredible items and experiences, the event raised funds that will be put right back into the community.

With a classic lemon drop as the signature cocktail, we found the perfect inspiration for the evening, lemons!!🍋✨

Our goal was to transform Phoenix Alley into a warm summer evening. Olive tree topiaries, glowing taper candles, fresh florals, layered greenery, and lots and lots of lemons came together to create a setting that felt inviting, romantic, and just a little unexpected.

We’re incredibly proud of how every detail came together and grateful to have played a small part in an evening dedicated to celebrating art, creativity, and the future of downtown Ellensburg.

Thank you Ellensburg Downtown Association for letting Canyons Design and Interiors to be a part of this memorable event! And here’s to beautiful spaces, local art, and a community worth celebrating.

Join us as we walk through the progress of this incredible new build!

It’s amazing to see this home coming to life. The drywall is up, exterior siding is going on, and all of the plumbing and electrical locations have been placed. Tile and flooring are on order, and the custom cabinets are officially being built!

We’re one year into this project, with a projected December finish and furnishings install. We couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead. Building a home is truly a journey, and it’s one we absolutely love being part of.

We’re so grateful for our amazing clients and an incredible builder who have made this process such a pleasure. Stay tuned—there’s so much more to come, and we can’t wait to share every step with you!

Creating this hidden Harry Potter-inspired reading nook for a very special little girl who loves the Wizarding World just as much as I do was pure magic. From floating Hogwarts letters and enchanted candles to cozy corners perfect for getting lost in a good book, every detail was designed to make her feel like she’d stepped right into the story. Here’s to making a little more magic in the world, one room at a time.

What’s one thing we’re always looking for on a site visit?

Natural light.

Before we think about furniture, finishes, or styling, we’re paying attention to how light moves through the home.

Morning light feels different than afternoon light. It influences how paint colors read, how wood tones appear, where artwork belongs, and even how a room is experienced throughout the day.

It’s one of the first things we evaluate because great design isn’t just about how a home looks, it’s about how it feels from sunrise to sunset.

This week we kicked off 5 new projects and we’re already booking projects into 2027!

I’m beyond thankful for my hardworking team. Their dedication, talent, and heart make it all possible, and I’m so lucky to work alongside people I can truly trust and count on.

Before our clients walk through the doors, we’re lining up every selection for their new Suncadia mountain home with Edie Homes — tile selections, grout samples, cabinet finishes, hardware, plumbing, lighting, flooring, wallcoverings, millwork, and paint… all of it layered together so they can see how the full story comes to life.

This is where the details really matter.
The undertone of the grout against the tile.
The scale of the cabinet pulls.
The sheen of the paint.
The function and flow.
How the tile moves from sample to wall and floor layouts.

These are the decisions that elevate a home from standard to exceptional — and most people don’t realize how much refinement happens in this phase. We’ve already edited, refined, priced, reworked, and curated so that today feels cohesive and clear instead of overwhelming. That’s part of the luxury experience.

Now it’s time to steam the linens, prep the space, set out the food, and get ready to walk them through every thoughtful choice.

This is one of my favorite parts of the process — when vision turns tangible. These incredible clients have been an absolute joy to work with and have a great team to help guide along the way.
