Pieceful Designs Mosaics Mixed media fine art mosaics by Howard County Arts Council Resident Artist Lisa Scarbath $60+

09/28/2026

A few spots remain in my weekend workshop Oct 23-25!

Come join me in my studio to make an 11x14” mosaic that tells your story! You’ll have access to my large selection of materials, tools for each participant, instruction and individual guidance.

Prior mosaic experience is helpful but not necessary. Artists of all skill levels are already registered, so you will be in good company.

My studio is located in the heart of Historic Ellicott City, steps (literally) away from shopping, sightseeing and great restaurants!

Enjoy live music by Josh Leach on the Ground Floor while visiting our Resident Artist studios! 9 of us are on the bottom floor, 4 on floor one and 5 more on the top floor. A total of 18 Resident Artists practicing different mediums from painting, printmaking, fashion, mosaics and more, will show you where the creativity happens. We are located in the new Capitoline Center (former circuit courthouse) in Historic Ellicott City.

Also happening that evening in the Main Gallery is a reception for Women's Caucus for Art | DC Exhibition, “Dimensions.” You won’t want to miss this intriguing homage to collage by female artists in the DMV.

See you soon! 🎶

My “Soul Mates” mixed media mosaic was juried into Women's Caucus for Art | DC ‘s exhibition Dimensions in Howard County Arts Council main gallery at the new Capitoline Center (former circuit courthouse)

It’s made with plates, mirror, smalti, ribbon and mannequin hands 18x24” and is for sale.

This piece represents the bond between people created by the red thread of fate. Come see it in person to see the secrets the hands are holding.
