In 2001, Shoemaker Country opened on Main Street. We added a second location in 2003. In 2016, a flood forced us to take a temporary location while our building was being rebuilt.
In 2018, we experienced another flood which forced us out of our original shop. We now have two new locations. Our design studio is at 3956 Cooks Lane Ellicott City, MD 21043 just up the road from the Historic District. This is the old Wilhides flower shop off of Old Columbia Pike. We will be open at this location Saturday and Sunday 11-5. This location gives us a showroom, a design area and a much needed additional workshop. There is plenty of parking. Stop by to see examples of the furniture we make and of available unfinished slabs for your special project. Feel free to contact us to make an appointment to visit during the week.
We are excited to announce that we are, once again, part of the Main Street community that we love. We recently opened our showroom at 8334 Main Street. This may be familiar to some as this is where we first reopened after the flood of 2016. You can visit us here Wednesday through Sunday 11-5 (and sometimes later into the evening).
