Doing this, this and this. I reopened my Layered Life shop with a brand new ephemera digital kit that pays homage to homebodies - “A Colorful Solo Life”. I plan to build the shop back up with digital goods moving forward. And if all goes as planned, physical products will be a feature as well! Love a new adventure! ❤️

RELEASING SUNDAY ⭐️ Layered Life is starting off in the digital file lane and revealing its first collection, My Colorful Solo Life, this Sunday, October 20 at 6:00PM Central US Time. It’s a slow on-board at Etsy’s platform as I continue to build new offerings and spend some time deciding how to evolve the brand into 2025. It’s a ‘no rush’ process. I just can’t seem to let it go. Layered Life is hanging around!
This first collection includes PDF printables and transparent background PNG’s for the digital scrapbooker and Canva user. Vectors will only be offered with a commercial license at a higher price point. This is an extensive, heavily detailed release of ephemera that is truly bright & ‘homebody-friendly’! Loners get ready to rejoice in your awesomeness and cat-loving tendencies! 🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈

Collage-a-Pocket! The benefit of pocket paging is its experimental factor. Anything can be done with a tiny canvas. You can make and toss out mistakes without guilt. Pocket pages don’t even have to be a means of documenting memories. Use them for playing around and storing ideas for that next project. Treat it like a reference for inspiration. Sometimes it’s nice to practice different techniques on a smaller scale before jumping up! Sketch artists do this sort of thing all the time, as do painters and other creatives. Never hurts to work ‘small’ as a way to explore and put supplies to work for you before investing in a final spread. ❤️

Hope you had a chance to download & print these! There is wonderful news about the flowers and butterflies – They will arise elsewhere in print form - keep them eyes open! 🤓
As to Layered Life, I plan to keep the Insta profile alive and ongoing, but there won’t necessarily be a shop attached to it anymore. It’s just going to be me, Christine Middlecamp, sharing her creative exploration processes about all things scrapbook related. Updates will post periodically. It’s gonna be casual and amply colorful, per usual. My feline friends are to be included, along with the occasional digital printable freebie! 🐈
Also, I’ve plans to try and take on contract work from time to time with various manufacturers. Still very much passionate about design. It will always be a constant in my life.
As to where I’m landing, the destination is pretty darn great! I’m returning to the vet industry to work as a receptionist part-time at a local vet clinic. Originally, I’d been a certified feline vet tech for five years. Now that motherhood is slowing down, I’m branching out once more and escaping the home (after fifteen years of being home for my son) It feels fantastic! Plus, who doesn’t love daily dog kisses?! Plus, I reopened my small artisan jewelry business - a popular place with bodes of delicate layers and eye-catching colors transformed into sparkly wearables. My bead obsession goes way back. I’ve actually been beading longer than anything paper related. I once served as a member of The Minnesota Bead Society and contributed tutorials to Bead & Button magazine. Around the same time, I was employed at a local bead shop where I was gifted a mentor with great talent. She introduced me to the world of beaded sculptural design and all its underpinnings. The art journey has been loooong and full of surprises! 😉
Layered Life orders depart Monday, February 27th. There are quite a few, so I appreciate your patience in my handing them off to USPS.

We had hoped to provide a physical version of this astoundingly gorgeous and colorful kit, but alas, it’s not to be. Instead of abandoning it altogether, we posted it to Google Drive for you to download, print and use on whatever Spring projects you might be working on over the next couple months. Layered Life is taking a brief break from the social media realm for a few weeks as we shift gears for overseas production. We greatly appreciate your patience. There is much anticipation about what's coming down the line as we introduce ephemera with a traditional matte finish and cleaner cut lines on beautiful thick card stock we feel really good about. We're jumping in the deep end and hope you'll stick around to see the end result! Inevitably, every scrapbooker is met with a limitation that slows down the storytelling process. Whether it's a major life shift or an underlying health issue, interruptions happen. For our LL Maker, , the culprit is rheumatoid arthritis. If you're familiar with the ailment, then you recognize the challenge of maintaining a creative schedule when battling this crippling disease. Every layout is a huge accomplishment for Jen - including this one about her arthritis journey. We commend you, Jen! ❤️

The first batch of orders including “Turn the Page” will be picked up by USPS tomorrow afternoon. The second batch will be picked up Wednesday. If still waiting on that tracking number, expect it to reach your inbox tomorrow. We take immense pride in making sure every order is carefully reviewed and packaged safely before sending it along and because we’re currently a two-man show, it takes us a couple of days to prep everything - which we are supremely grateful for!
We went ahead and chose bright yellow bags for this newest kit. It includes a super cool postcard - decor on front, business in back!😜
Only a handful remain of this one..it’s been insanely popular and we couldn’t be happier about it! Thank you everyone! You guys are awesome! 🙌🏻💛🙌🏻💛🙌🏻
