A little morning seed harvest to start the day!

Did you know that the pods that develop on your Daylilies contain seeds!?

Pull the dried pods off the plant to reveal shiny black seeds that you can save and plant for next year! You will most likely end up with a slightly different looking plant due to cross pollination from the bees but who doesn’t love a good surprise!?

WHAT in the world!?

I couldn’t get close enough to tell what these actually were! 😳 It was a very large swarm that I could hear before I saw them. The traveled West to East across our property and off into the woods behind our house. Glad they didn’t choose to stay!
