Supper tonight ~ butterfly chops in a zesty Italian reduction and Kraft macaroni & cheese, paired with buttered sourdough thrown on the George Forman grill. Simple enough, right??!

I’ve seen the tiktok trend of having sourdough, jelly, and chips coated in peanut butter on top recently ~ I don’t think I’ll mess with that. Just adding some grape jelly…. The boujee-est toast I’ve ever had! Haha.

Reminds me of eating a skillet at Kirby’s ~ finishing it off with their toast & jelly. Need to add that to our supper rotation this month too!

Need to have management weld up a support for it? Idk. Planted my sad little knawed off mezoo in it ~ cross your fingers for me. Haha. Trying a trick with some disco ball picks too ~ they’re supposed to work in a garden for certain critters, maybe they’ll ward off my killer squirrels and bunnies. And a life lesson this planting season. Not all dirt is the same. I’ve got some weeding to do!

I picked this plastic bubble balloon USA decor at DG recently ~ meant to set somewhere ~ and turned it into a garden pick. My trusty E6000 rarely lets me down ~ I did cure this for over 24 hrs. (Because I forgot about it) But it’s day 2 of getting some things done so she made it outside! We’ll see how she handles the heat 🥵

Another project done ~ a year in the making! I have been on the hunt for completely unsalvageable instruments to use as planters.

Everyone got new timpani’s ~ the HS, the MS and the Muni Band. And this one needed a new home. If she was salvageable to use as an instrument, she would have been passed on to the next new band ~ but alas, she had a good life. This is one of 2 timpani’s from when I was in HS, 30 years ago. And who knows how old they were then!! Maybe my Mom had them in her band in the early 70’s. They’ve spent the last however many years used by the muni band.

She was cleaned up, given a fresh coat of paint, and a nice heavy sealant. My first time using the twist top spray can. I’ll stick to my regular nozzle….. As I was watering everything, I did find my mezoo to have been nibbled on. So anyone else with it in planters, keep an eye out! Mine were really starting to get some volume too.

She’s a fun piece tho ~ glad to give her new life! I believe the other timpani is being repurposed as well 🤗

If anyone comes across a tuba, euphonium, or any kind of saxophone that doesn’t work and is under $50 ~ hit me up! 🎶
