Supper was ready within 10-15 min of Auggie coming home from cheer practice ~ also reminiscent of a 90’s supper 🤗

I’m down to one of my last little complimentary notepads {with lines} from donation solicitations ~ these thicker ones came with address labels usually. They’ve been long tossed as we don’t live there anymore ~ we haven’t received any in a long time now that I’d thought about it a bit. And maybe they’re listening (whomever they are) like your phone does, and I’ll get something in the mail soon! Haha

Someone has been awfully clingy today too ~ think she’s noticing the change w/ school starting?? I’ll be in my sewing room later and I’m sure she’ll assume her spot next to me looking out the patio windows keeping me safe. Haha She’s had a lot to say today too, so not sure what that’s about 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t speak cat. Haha

The last day of August has me in my feels ~ the rest of the year is going to go so fast now….

Why buy it for $25 when I can make it for $5 + materials I already had!

Had fun making my own version of this pumpkin from TJmaxx ~ I’m still tempted to buy it….. haha

What I learned tho: Spray paint bright white and acrylic bright whites are not the same ~ was hoping to not have any brush lines in this at all. 😞 and my clear coat sealant needs to be applied very very thinly. Multiple times. Air dry clay dries rather comedically (think elephant skin) and starting with wire and tin foil instead of one solid piece of clay was the smarter option!

I know I have bigger pumpkins in the garage ~ I have a few more designs up my sleeve to try… she’s super light weight tho, unlike the store version. And I won’t cry if something on it breaks. 😂🤣

Was supposed to be beef ribs ~ but when I went to the freezer I had beef soup bones 🤦🏼‍♀️ 😂🤣. The beef ribs were 3 cows ago apparently. So the soup bones are still thawing and I grabbed a pkg of hamburger for tonight. I surely wasn’t going to attempt a brisket…. I know my limits.

Hamburger patty w/ scalloped corn, cubed potatoes and onions and Rhodes buns.

The boys will be well fed tonight!

Sadly, we’re headed back to Iowa and will plan ahead. Like be in the parking lot by 3:30. 🤣😂 plenty of groups there tailgating ~ and we did see a Palo Alto county plate! Haha

No steak for us in Bergen, MN tonight!
