I finally had a moment to add new items to our booth at Emmitsburg Antique Mall.

I've gone quiet here on our page as well as our booth at Emmitsburg Antique Mall. Our family received some devastating news earlier this year. My sister who's only 11 months and 2 weeks older than me was diagnosed with a medically incurable cancer. I word it that way because we have no idea what God's plans are for her. Any and all prayers are welcome as we navigate this difficult journey together.

I had a chance this weekend to work a little in my workshop. John created these tiny bowls awhile ago, I asked him to make little scoops for each bowl, I painted them in a nice natural grungy finish and voila, we have little spice keeps!

I will be offering these in our booth with the allspice included. Hopefully if all goes well, I can get a load of new stuff, including these, to our booth this coming Friday.

I had some time today to play in my craft barn and I thought I'd better get a jump on fall items. I'm pleased to introduce Kitty Korn (pattern by Chestnut Junction). I have another Kitty started but had to stop to get dinner. Priorities are important!

I had a special request for a Confederate soldier 6 years ago when I shut the store down. I finally made one for this very special and very patient customer! It completes her set of American stump dolls that I had made throughout the years. Luckily she loves it ❤️🤍💙

This is the cat rescue where I volunteer. They are a great organization and I have seen many cats get a new loving home after they are spade or neutered and receive all vaccines at the cost of the rescue! All proceeds go right to these precious littles.

Coming soon ... Flags with stand

John has been working with his lathe creating these stands for the copious amounts of flags that I have to offer! The first three of course are mine 😜. (Side note: he also created the wood 'crock' container that the topiary is setting in).

5 years ago today I made the best decision but the hardest accomplishment I've ever made! I am proud of this accomplishment. And to all the former smokers who told me the cravings still happen, you are correct but they're much easier to fight off!
