I am not sure why any one would feel bad about selling anything , religious, or not. didn't God make every thing? why would selling the cross Christ died on be any different then the earth he made for us to live on. all my life, being raised Catholic. I was taught to prepare for my death, and the life after. but it was all confusing. for God made this perfect world to live on. why would he give us talent if not to use it. and bringing happiness to others, is what he teaches. your not selling his death, but his hope. just like a teddy bear. give happiness, and warmth, and hope, protection. what ever. where would folks go to get a beautiful cross? if not wood workers. in church ? I don't think so. they are sad, your crosses seem to be a consistent seller, because the are beautiful. and you made them with love. and money, we just can't do it forever for free. do preast and brothers, and men esters, do it for free, dont' think so. heck, my mom had to give 10 percent of my dads income every week to the church. mmmm. so what is a little cross. made with love, sold for penny's, and with love and talent . worth. not criticism for sure. we should banish shame, not hope.
